Wednesday Whites 69: Little Monk

Hi again and welcome to another edition of Wednesday Whites!  I am sharing one of the photos displayed at the Mall Bangkapi during the “Journey to Spirituality” feast they had– I love how this photo was taken of a little monk wearing white.

Just a little trivia, all Thai boys should be able to experience how it is to be a monk before they reach 18 years of age.  These boys should live in a temple with the older monks, go from house to house every morning to assist the monks in accepting offerings from people and saying a prayer for them in return.

Little monks in Thailand are called “nen”.  This is a cute one, isn’t he?   Just a little reminder, please link back to this site and don’t forget to visit other Wednesday Whiters! Have fun!
